Tapestry’s Identity Infrastructure Powers Lore’s Seamless Investor Onboarding
Lore launched its public namespace with 27,000+ investor profiles auto-filled in seconds, powered by Tapestry’s Identities API.
Lore, the investment syndicate platform, launched their public namespace with approximately 27,000 investor profiles. When users signed up, their profiles didn’t start empty.
Instead, they auto-filled instantly with rich social context: onchain social handles, Twitter profiles, bios, and profile pictures.
What typically takes users minutes of tedious form-filling happened in seconds.
This seamless experience was powered by Tapestry’s Identities API, which resolved each wallet connection into a complete social profile.
Since March, more than 2,750 Lore signups (about 90%) had their profiles instantly auto-filled with existing Tapestry identity data. And it doesn’t stop at onboarding: that same data has powered 14,000+ profile views, showing investors richer, updated profiles across the platform.
Why This Matters
Identity as Infrastructure
Lore didn’t need to build complex profile systems. They inherited years of established social capital instantly. Social identity is becoming portable infrastructure that travels with users across applications.
The End of Cold Start Problems
With unified identity infrastructure, every new app launches with rich user context from day one. Users never start from zero again.
Social Capital as a First-Class Primitive
On Lore, investors see verified social profiles and portable reputation—not just anonymous wallet addresses. This transforms investment decisions from gut feelings about unknown addresses to informed choices about real people with established track records.
What This Means for Builders
Lore’s launch is a reminder that teams don’t need to spend months rebuilding the same profile systems over and over. With identity, social graphs, and profiles available as infrastructure, founders can start with context already in place.
That means more time spent building the thing that makes your product different, and less time reinventing the wheel.
We’re moving into a world where social data flows as naturally as financial data. And when that happens, every new app gets to launch with real users, real relationships, and real history from day one.
Huge congrats to the Lore team on the launch. You’ve shown the ecosystem what it looks like when identity just works.
