Reflections on Our First Solana Social Accelerator
We launched the Solana Social Accelerator (SSA) with the goal to support builders who believe in the future of onchain social and help them integrate with Tapestry. We’ve always believed that social experiences are the foundation of any thriving ecosystem, and Solana has a major opportunity to accelerate decentralized social.
SSA wasn’t just about helping teams launch features; it was about giving founders the resources, connections, and brand equity to cement their place in Solana’s social landscape. We wanted to make integration with Tapestry easy and valuable while ensuring teams could focus on building great products and tap into a broader network.
Over the course of three weeks, SSA became more than just a program—it is a space for collaboration, insight, and growth. Tokie, Copo.st, and Lux each brought a unique vision for onchain social. Through fireside chats and knowledge-sharing among founders, we created something special. This experience at large was not only a huge learning, but a privilege for us all.
The Teams
Tokie | Making Trading Social
Founder: Cee
Tokie is redefining how traders discover, share, and earn from their moves. By enabling users to follow top-performing trades and wallets, Tokie blends social engagement with smart trading. Tokie integrated Tapestry’s activity feeds to showcase real-time trades and strategies, turning trading into a social experience. They also explored identity verification to build trust, ensuring users could engage with verified top traders.
Copo.st | A social platform for creators and communities
Founder: Bora Turan
Copo.st is on a mission to build an open social platform that allows creators, communities, and businesses to build their own custom social apps, similar to TikTok or Instagram, but with decentralized infrastructure. The Copo.st team has a vision of making social networks more composable and user-owned. During the program, they explored Tapestry’s API to enhance the way users interact and grow their communities.
Lux | The Multiplayer Internet
Founder: Valentino Dore
Lux is creating the Multiplayer Internet, where social interactions, digital ownership, and immersive experiences blend seamlessly. Their vision extends beyond traditional social media, integrating web3 mechanics into gaming, virtual experiences, and more. Valentino has a deep understanding of what it means to bring people together in digital spaces. Our conversations explored how Tapestry could support user identity, engagement analytics, and cross-platform interactions to make onchain social richer and more interactive. Lux is paving the way for next-gen, player-driven social ecosystems on Solana.
Program & Fireside Chats
One of the most valuable aspects of the program was our fireside chats, where industry leaders led casual conversations while sharing valuable insights.
Pedro Miranda (Solana Foundation) broke down community building, highlighting what it takes to create engaged and sustainable networks.
Katie Chiou (Archetype) gave an honest look at raising capital in web3, helping founders sharpen their fundraising approach.
Nikhil Kumar (Solana Foundation) talked about consumer products, seamless user experiences, and emphasized how products should solve real problems, and foster collaboration.
Nitya Subramanian (Para) shared her experience as a founder and growth and evolution of Para. Nitya focused on seamless onboarding, prioritizing interoperability, and the value of use user insights to guide early-stage development.
Looking Ahead
SocialFi isn’t just about monetization—it’s about creating incentives for engagement, meaningful ownership, and new network effects.
We’ve seen how powerful onchain social can be when combined with great products and founders and will make sure this is simply the first of many accelerators to come! Our goal is to proliferate SSA and help more builders integrate Tapestry’s infrastructure to unlock new social experiences on Solana.
To Tokie, Copo.st, and Lux—thank you for being part of this journey. To the Solana community—let’s keep pushing forward together!
